Sonya is a lawyer with over a decade of experience, practicing primarily in the areas of family law, criminal law, and mediation. Called to the Alberta Bar in 2013, she brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach to every file, balancing legal expertise with practical solutions tailored to the unique needs of each case.
Sonya earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Calgary and completed her Juris Doctor at Bond University in Australia. Since being admitted to the Alberta Bar, she has built a practice grounded in integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to advocacy.
In her family law practice, Sonya advises and represents clients on matters involving divorce and separation, parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, and property division.
