Allison Mitic


Allison graduated from the University of Alberta, Faculty of Law in 2014 after obtaining her Bachelor of Commerce from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary in 2009. In 2010 and 2011 she received certificates in Interpersonal Conflict Resolution and Negotiation through the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society.

Allison completed her articles in Edmonton at a firm focusing on criminal defence. During her articles she seconded with Johnson Turner Lefaivre where she was able to gain experience and mentorship in family law.

Since moving to Calgary in 2015, Allison has been volunteering with Calgary Legal Guidance as a volunteer lawyer. She participates in both the Evening Legal Clinic, where she gives free legal advice in the areas of family law and criminal defence. Allison also volunteers as duty counsel in trial confirmation court where she assists unrepresented individuals with upcoming trial dates by giving legal advice and helping them resolve their matters in front of a judge.
